How do I calculate my toll fee for a trip in the Philippines?
Use the calculator at the top of this page: choose your expressway, entry point, exit point, and vehicle class. The exact toll fee appears instantly, based on the latest published rate matrices.
What is the difference between Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 vehicles?
Class 1 covers cars, SUVs, vans, motorcycles above 400cc, and jeepneys. Class 2 covers buses and light trucks. Class 3 covers large trucks and trailers with more than 2 axles. Toll fees roughly double for Class 2 and triple for Class 3.
What is the difference between Easytrip and Autosweep RFID?
Easytrip works on the MPTC tollways: NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX and CALAX. Autosweep works on the San Miguel tollways: Skyway, SLEX, STAR, TPLEX, NAIAX and MCX. Since the One RFID, All Tollways rollout in October 2025 an enrolled tag of either brand is accepted on both networks, but enrolment is not automatic and each account keeps its own balance.
Can I still pay cash at Philippine toll gates?
Most expressways are now RFID-first. Some plazas keep limited cash or "RFID assist" lanes, but you should not rely on them. Get an RFID sticker and keep it loaded — installation is free at designated sites.
How much load should I keep in my RFID for a Manila to Baguio trip?
A one-way Class 1 run costs about ₱981 in total: NLEX and SCTEX are billed to Easytrip, while TPLEX uses Autosweep. For a round trip, load around ₱1,550 on Easytrip and ₱750 on Autosweep so you are never short at a barrier.
Are toll fees in the Philippines VAT-inclusive?
Yes. Published toll matrices already include 12% VAT, so the rate you see in our calculator is the final amount deducted from your RFID or paid at the booth.
How often do toll rates change?
Operators petition the Toll Regulatory Board for periodic adjustments, typically implemented in tranches once approved. We track TRB advisories and update our matrices when new rates take effect.
Do motorcycles pay toll on expressways?
Motorcycles 400cc and above may use most expressways and pay Class 1 rates. Motorcycles below 400cc are not allowed on expressways, including the Skyway.
Which expressways does this calculator cover?

North Luzon Expressway
Does NLEX use Easytrip or Autosweep?
NLEX uses Easytrip RFID. The same account also covers SCTEX, CAVITEX and CALAX. MCX runs on Autosweep, not Easytrip.
Is NLEX an open or closed toll system?
Both. Balintawak to Bocaue is an open (flat-fee) section; from Bocaue northward it is a closed, distance-based system.
South Luzon Expressway
Does SLEX use Easytrip or Autosweep?
SLEX uses Autosweep RFID, shared with Skyway, STAR, TPLEX, and NAIAX.
How do I get to Tagaytay via SLEX?
Exit at Sta. Rosa and take the Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay road, or stay on the network and use CALAX's Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay exit for a faster run on weekends.
Skyway
Are trucks allowed on the Skyway?
Class 3 heavy trucks are restricted on most elevated Skyway sections. Check SOMCO advisories before routing trucks through Stage 3.
How long does it take to cross Metro Manila via Skyway Stage 3?
Around 20–30 minutes from Balintawak (NLEX) to Buendia in normal conditions — versus 1.5 to 2 hours on EDSA.
