This policy explains how tollcalculator.ph handles information when you use the site. We have tried to keep it in plain language.

The short version

You do not need an account to use anything here. We do not sell your data. The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to type into the contact form.

What we collect

  • Nothing, to use the calculator. Toll lookups are not tied to you and we do not store the routes you search.
  • Contact form submissions. If you write to us we store your name, email address, chosen subject and message, plus your IP address and browser string for spam prevention. We use these only to reply and to fix what you reported.
  • Standard analytics. Aggregated, non-identifying data such as pages viewed, approximate city-level location, device type, referring site and time on page.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We use them for analytics, and — if enabled — for advertising. A session cookie is also used to keep the site secure against forged form submissions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculator will still work.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used and where it is confusing. These collect anonymised usage data and, in Clarity's case, aggregated interaction patterns. We do not use them to identify individuals. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the official browser add-on.

Advertising

The site may display advertising from third-party networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies to show ads relevant to your interests based on your browsing. We do not share any personally identifiable information with advertisers, and we do not control which specific ads are served. You can manage ad personalisation in Google's Ad Settings.

Third-party links

We link to tollway operators, the TRB, OpenStreetMap and news sources. Once you follow a link, that site's privacy policy applies, not ours.

How long we keep things

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to spot repeat issues, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's own retention settings.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable safeguards to the data we hold. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details through the contact form — we never need them.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@tollcalculator.ph and we will action reasonable requests promptly.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If this policy changes we will update the page and the date above.
