Manila to Baguio Toll Fee

3 expressways · Rates effective January 2026

Total toll — Class 1 (Car / SUV / Van), one way
₱981

Round trip: ₱1,962 · Add fuel & budget →

The drive to Baguio is tolled as far as Rosario, La Union, where TPLEX ends. From there the climb up to the city — whether you take Kennon Road, Marcos Highway or Naguilian Road — has no toll at all. So the figure below is the complete expressway cost of getting to Baguio.

Note that this trip crosses both RFID networks: NLEX and SCTEX are Easytrip, TPLEX is Autosweep. One loaded account is not enough.

Which RFID Do You Need?

Both. This trip crosses expressways run by different operators, using Easytrip and Autosweep RFID. If only one account is loaded you will be stopped part-way through the trip. Load both before you leave — NLEX uses Easytrip; SCTEX uses Easytrip; TPLEX uses Autosweep .

Where the Tolls Stop

Drivers often budget for tolls all the way to Baguio, but the tolled portion ends at the TPLEX Rosario exit. Marcos Highway (the usual all-weather choice) and Kennon Road are both free, though Kennon closes during heavy rain and is periodically restricted — check before you commit to it.

Breaking the Trip

The NLEX and SCTEX legs have the densest service areas on the whole network, so it is worth refuelling before Tarlac rather than after. TPLEX has fewer stops along its length.

Heading only as far as the lowlands? See the Manila to La Union breakdown, which shares the same three expressway legs but ends at the coast instead of climbing.
